The Company

EuroitticaMar Srl, established in 2006 when the sons of Euroittica Srl founders joined the company, is the result of a long experience in marketing and processing of cephalopod mussels and seafood in general.

Ondino Marchesan and Roberto Voltolina started up their activity in the harbours and fish markets of the Venetian region around the beginning of the Seventies. They expanded their activity with the establishment of Veneta Seppia Snc, mainly specialized in the trade and processing of fresh and frozen seafood products and cephalopods in particular.

Euroittica

The company soon became a leader in the market of fresh fish and frozen and defrosted seafood, mostly destined for the domestic market and several EU countries such as Spain, Germany and Eastern Europe (mainly Romania).

As of today, EuroitticaMar Srl is one of the most prestigious seafood dealers in the Italian market. Our company disposes of a large network of national and foreign suppliers. Fresh seafood is purchased directly at the main domestic fish markets, amongst which Ancona, Scardovari, Portogaribaldi, San Benedetto and most of all, Chioggia. We also import frozen seafood products from EU and non-EU countries, also through our partnership with foreign distributors. We offer a wide assortment of seafood products, from fresh seafood to frozen and defrosted fish products, which allows us to satisfy the demand of our large clientele.

Euroittica plant

Our processing plant extends over 3500 sqm, including administration offices and areas where fresh fish product is delivered, stored, processed, transformed, packaged and distributed. We also dispose of an area inside the fish market of Chioggia where fresh fish is processed right after purchase and retailed or delivered to our main facility to be either transformed and packaged or stored in freeze rooms.
